 In 2017 American Satan was released under Sumerian Films; the film division under the Sumerian record label (c. Ash Alvidsen) producing bands like Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides, Born of Osiris and none other than Payale Royale. Starring Andy Black of Black Veil Brides, the premise was the legend of christianity warning against the flesh and the devils influence on The Relentless; the story follows the rise to fame under their deal with the devil. They begin in practicing rituals of sacrifice and adorning their vision with occult symbolism. Payale Royale's track Mr. Doctor Man was used in the characterization of The Relentless's sound in the movie. Payale Royale's energy and vision stands on its own with the absolute originality and their enrapturing charm. Their track F***ing with my head above all was my favorite; favoring an industrious steam punk emo vibe; with a synthesis of tight hi hat gripping high sustained riffs on electric, and agile bass to capture its perceptive style.
