I disagree

Id like to take the time to acknowledge another queen; Poppy. She is another queen who broke my covertly ostentatious cynicism. Throughout her career as a controversial artist, her artistic vision grew away from her bitter inception under director Titanic Sinclair. His anticapitalistic viewpoints were shown off in poppys role of "im poppy". She collaborates with sinclairs generic repulsion towards technology's role in society that is growing to be more isolating; indirectly virtue signaling the use of social media. During the release of the project, there were allegations of plagiarism on behalf of Mars Argo, a former collaborator with titanic sinclairs old project "". Poppy in her later work clarified indirectly that the claim was false with the lyric "i am me. You could never be me". Controversy then grew further when allegations of abuse were made against Sinclair and Poppy. I only have vague clarity on the allegations. It is worth noting her statement "it was like just a tax writeoff" regarding her act under Diplo's record label Mad Decent. She then persued independently onward into my favorite era; the poppy of 2021. Her metal punk track "fear of dying" which was a cover of a song by Jack off Jill, a alt metal band from obviously the early 2000s. Her vision was clear at this point. To me the sound was zealous, inquisitive and very goth. She grew authentically, a spirit of emotional depth and an artistic vision that was harmonious; also having creative integrity. So there you have it, Poppy of 2021.
